Ordered Steps

Day 35
I am able to do far beyond what you ask or think. When you get yourself in line with Me, things will fall into place. I don't want you to be frustrated or burned out. I am leading you into a place of order and peace. You can't serve me or accomplish anything from a place of disorder and frustration.

Everything cannot be changed at once. You will see how I work. Focus on priority number one first and always: Daily make it your habit to follow through with Me and my word. It is your first step of every day, and I will guide you through all the other steps.

Delete what is unnecessary. Focus and concentrate on committing your way to Me. The discipline starts with the same step every day. Then we go to the next step -- one by one. See to it that you commit all your ways to Me.

Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen [Ephesians 3:20-21].

The steps of a man are established by the Lord, and He delights in his way [Psalm 37:23].

Establish my footsteps in your word, and do not let any sin have dominion over me [Psalm 119:133].

Commit your way to the Lord, trust also in Him, and He will do it [Psalm 37:5].

Divine Provision

Day 34
Trust and obey -- one step at a time. Don't strain, don't falter -- remain steadfast, focused, unmoved, your confidence in Me. I have every answer, the key to unlock every mystery. I will not withhold anything from you that you need.

Blue Heron

Take every thought captive; take every action captive. Purpose to do as I lead. It seems difficlt, but you will see it is much easier than being undisciplined. If you submit to Me, and I have complete control, everything will come into perfect balance. You will see my provision, in time, in energy, and in every material resource you need.

Don't be anxious. I am the driver. I know the terrain. I have plotted the course, and I will see to it that you arrive safely at each destination.

I will never give you too much to do, and I will always provide the resource for you to do what I ask. You must allow Me to work. Your progress is slowed, and even halted,if you do not trust, submit and obey.

Therefore, my beloved brothers and sisters, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowng that your labor is not in vain in the Lord [1 Corinthians 15:58].

For the Lord God is a sun and shield; He gives grace and glory; no good thing does he withhold from those who walk uprightly [Psalm 84:11].

Seeing that His divine power has granted to us everything pertaining to life and godliness, through the true knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence [2 Peter 1:3].

Faithful is He who calls you, and He also will do it [1 Thessalonians 5:24].

Navigator

Day 33
Listen for my voice. I will guide you. It is truly a maze that you live in. I know your needs, and those of your family, even before you ask. I will make a way. Trust Me and follow my lead. Take one step at a time, and walk in faith. Get up early with Me, and discipline yourself. I will put the hours in your day. I will show you what is important, and what to eliminate. I know how to order you life. Keep abiding in Me, and I will make your paths straight. Little by little, we will get it done. Focus on today's problems today. You cannot tackle entire issues in one day. I will give you guidance and reveal my plans to you, one step at a time.

My times are in your hand; deliver me from the hand of my enemies and from those who persecute me [Psalm 31:15].

Does He not see my ways and number all my steps? [Job 31:4]

Man's steps are ordained by the Lord. How then can man understand his way? [Proverbs 20:24].

Before they call, I will answer and while they are still speaking, I will hear [Isaiah 65:24].

You are Precious

Day 32
I am creating in you a heart for Me, fashioning you to be my servant. I have prepared many things for you to do. We are just beginning. You must grow in your time with Me and learn to pray and seek Me. Your roots must go deep down into my being. Don't just stay on the surface. Your thought patterns will be changed, your attitude, your focus of concern; your level of anxiety will be made nothing. Your speech and your actions will glorify Me. I see to that when you abide in Me.

Any moment you spend with Me is an investment of time into the bank of eternity. It can never be wasted or lost. No one can rob what you have entrusted to Me, nor the time you have with Me. You have been bought with a great price. Do you think I can forget something that is so precious to Me? My steadfast love is always here for you to lean on.

Great Grandfather

Create in me a clean heart, oh God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me [Psalm 51:10].

Glory in his holy name; let the heart of those who seek the Lord be glad. Seek the Lord and his strength; seek his face continually [Psalm 105:3-4].

Can a woman forget her nursing child and have no compassion on the son of her womb? Even these may forget, but I will not forget you [Isaiah 49:15].

For this reason I also suffer these things, but I am not ashamed; for I know whom I have believed and I am convinced that He is able to guard what I have entrusted to him until that day [2 Timothy 1:12].

Follow Me

Day 31
I am faithful. Bring to Me all your concerns. I will carry your burdens, and I have made provision to take care of every concern. Don't be moved by situations that seem insurmountable. I have made a way. Submit your needs to Me, and trust Me. Watch for my answer. I will come at the perfect time. Until then, persevere in obedience to my word and follow the leading of my Spirit.

I have set you upon a path. The course is plotted. The plans are made. The obstacles are anticipated and have been overcome. Only I can see the end and what lies beyond the next step. You need to rely on the fact that I have provided for everything. As you increase in dependency and confidence in Me, you will gain boldness and assurance to approach people and situations. I make the preparations, and I will carry out my plans.

Do not fret because of evildoers. Be not be envious toward wrongdoers. For they will wither quickly like the grass and fade like the green herb. Trust in the Lord and do good; dwell in the land and cultivate faithfulness. Delight yourself in the Lord; and He will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord. Trust in Him, and He will do it. He will bring forth your righteousness as the light and your judgment as the noonday.

Rest in the Lord and wait patiently for Him; do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who carries out wicked schemes. Cease from anger and forsake wrath; do not fret; it leads only to evildoing [Psalm 37:1-8].

I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you should go; I will counsel you with my eye upon you [Psalm 32:8].

Master Protector

Day 30
I will teach you how to pray and how to minister to others. I will open up opportunities before you. You do not have to look for them. My timing is perfect. I have not put anything in your life that has no purpose. I am building my church, carefully molding each part. You are in my hands.

I will give you boldness when you need it, and I will set a guard upon your mouth when it is time to be quiet. The action you must take is to yield to me and learn of my ways.

I am your shield -- your great protector. Nothing can enter the space around you without my permission. There are no accidents, and nothing escapes my view. When you submit to me, believing, every detail of the day is under my protection. Expect my protection. Watch for my lead, and use my word as your weapon against darkness.

In the same way the Spirit also helps our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we should, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words; and He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He intercedes for the saints according to the will of God [Romans 8:26,27].

Set a guard, O Lord, over my mouth; keep watch over the door of my lips [Psalm 141:3].

In righteousness you will be established; you will be far from oppression, for you will not fear; and from terror, for it will not come near you. If anyone fiercely assails you it will not be from me. Whover assails you will fall because of you. I myself have created the smith who blows the fire of coals and brings out a weapon for its work; and I have created the destroyer to ruin. No weapon that is formed against you will prosper; and every tongue that accuses you in judgment you will condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their vindication is from me, declares the Lord [ Isaiah 54:14-17].

Word Power

Day 29
Wait upon me, and I will renew your strength. I have all things under control. I will use my word to bring change where change is needed. My ways are difficult for you to understand, but easy to follow. I will not encumber you, and I will not ask of you more than you can do.


I have sent my word to heal you. It has the power to bring change. Watch what I will do, and stay in my word. Don't compromise your priorities. I am within you, to work my good pleasure, and that is what you were created for, to please me. Your life will be filled and overflowing when you abide in me. My Spirit will guide you, with keen awareness of what to do and how to speak and how to pray.

[When my people turn to me] I will bring health and healing, and I will heal them; and I will reveal to them an abundance of peace and truth [Jeremiah 33:6].

Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble; He saved them out of their distresses. He sent his word and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions [Psalm 107:19-20].

For God is working in you, to give you the desire and the power to do what pleases Him [Philippians 2:13].

Future Vision

Day 28
I am preparing you for the days ahead. Each day has enough worries of its own. Don't waste time and energy on worrying about what does not need to be taken care of today. My plans for your future are clear. Take care of today by obeying and trusting what I have given you for today.

I hear your cries. I know all of your concerns, even before you voice them. I will give you the vision for your future. You must stay close to me, walking in my Spirit, and pay attention to my word so that my vision for you may be fulfilled.

Your past, and the past of all in your family, have no power over my vision for your future. Abide in me, and my vision will be fulfilled. Every part of your life is included in my vision for you. I do not do things in part or in pieces. I am the God of wholeness. I do all things well. Have you not seen my provision and my timing, even in small things? Rely on me, and rest in my provision.

And my God will supply all your need according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus [Philippians 4:19].

Forget the former things. Do not dwell in the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up. Do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland [Isaiah 43:18].

They were utterly astonished, saying, "He has done all things well; He makes even the deaf to hear and the mute to speak" [Mark 7:37].

Overcome

Day 27
Keep a steady focus on me, and defer to me all through the day. I will not let you be moved if you keep your eyes on me. My ways are not your ways, but you will know them. I am working when you don't see me. Let me guide you every step of the way. When there are things you don't want to do, persevere in me. In this way you will be victorious over your circumstances. I will give you power, and you will overcome. Discipline is a decision of your will, and submission of that will to me gives you power. The power to do comes from me, but first you must obey and trust.

I have set the Lord continully before me; because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken [Psalm 16:8].

He will not allow your foot to slip; He who keeps you will not slumber. Behold, He who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord is your keeper; the Lord is your shade on your right hand. The sun will not smite you by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord will protect you from all evil; He will preserve your soul. The Lord will guard your going out and your coming in from this time forward and forever [Psalm 121:3-8].

For whatever is born of God overcomes the world; and this is the victory that has overcome the world--our faith. Who is the one who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God? [1 John 5:4-5]

One Voice

Day 26
I will give you understanding as you need it. I will make the path clear to you that you must follow. There are many voices calling to you. Because you know me, you will know my voice. Listen only to my voice, and disregard any others. Stay in my word, and you will know more of me. I reveal myself to you as your need. Too much of my truth at one time would overwhelm you. I know exactly what you need and when. Don't look to people or to things for your happiness. Keep on seeking after me. Whoever seeks me will find me in every circumstance.

My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me [John 10:27].

Teach me, O Lord, the way of your statutes, and I will observe it to the end. Give me understanding, that I may observe your law and keep it with all my heart. Make me walk in the path of your commandments, for I delight in it [Psalm 119:33-35].

When you said, "Seek my face," my heart said to You, "Your face, O Lord, I will seek" [Psalm 27:8].

One Day at a Time

Day 25
Let not your heart be troubled. Trust in me. I know everything that surrounds you. Do not look to those things. Keep your heart set on things above. Watch for my provision as I lead you. No one else is walking your path, but I am with you. I alone can understand all the longings and the questions of your heart. I am your counselor.

Be careful to take care of the responsibilities I have given you. Don't seek to make money or to be successful. Seek Me. I will make opportunities for you as you are ready. My path will be clear to you. You don't need to clear the path ahead of you; just stay on it. I am making a way through the wilderness. Let my word and my Spirit guide you. Commit your way to me and follow me.

Don't worry about things that are in the future. Take care of the things for today, and I will take care of tomorrow. Obey my word to you for today. I will guide you, so that you don't waste time and so that you can rest and be refreshed. Be diligent, and watch for my provision.

And he said, "Listen, Judah and all the inhabitants of Jerusalem and King Jehoshaphat: Thus says the Lord to you, 'Do not fear or be dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours but God's'" [2 Chronicles 20:15].

Set your mind on things above, not on the things that are on earth [Colossians 3:2].

But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own [Matthew 6:33-34].

The Lord is my shepherd,
I shall not want.
He makes me lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside quiet waters.
He restores my soul.
He guides me in paths of righteousness
For his name's sake [Psalm 23:1-3].

Nothing's Too Small

Day 24
I care about the littlest detail of that which concerns you. I am profoundly interested in all of your ways. Look to me. Lean on me. Trust in me. Follow me. It is not an easy thing, but I am here to see you through it. Pray without ceasing, and do not lean on your own understanding. Listen for my voice. I am guiding you.

All that I am is available to you. My power and my grace are sufficient for you. Learn to look to me and seek me diligently, for time is growing short.

"All this," said David, "the Lord made me understand in writing by his hand upon me, all the details of this pattern." Then David said to his son Solomon, "Be strong and courageous, and act; do not fear nor be dismayed, for the Lord God, my God, is with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you until all the work for the service of the house of the Lord is finished" [1 Chronicles 28:19-20].

For the Lord God helps me; therefore, I am not disgraced; therefore, I have set my face like flint, and I know that I will not be ashamed. He who vindicates me is near; who will contend with me? Let us stand up to each other; who has a case against me? Let him draw near to me. Behold, the Lord God helps me; who is he who condemns me? They will all wear out like a garment; the moth will eat them. Who is among you that fears the Lord, that obeys the voice of his servant, that walks in darkness and has no light? Let him trust in the name of the Lord and rely on his God [Isaiah 50:7-10].

Which Way?

Day 23
Lay aside all that encumbers you. Draw your strength from Me. I will be your motivation and your inspiration. You can do nothing apart from Me. Anything that is not from faith is futile. Quit focusing on problems and focus your attention on Me and my great power. I will show it to you. I will guide you.

It is a new thing, walking by faith every day. Learn what it means to commit your ways to me. I am the one who gets things done. Lay your burdens down before me. I will carry them. Allow me to direct you and to navigate you through the maze of this life. You cannot find your way by groping. You must hold onto Me. I know the way. I am the way.

Therefore, since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us lay aside everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is marked out for us [Hebrews 12:1].

These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage, for I have overcome the world [John 16:33].

Blessed be the Lord, who daily bears our burdens, the God who is our salvation [Psalm 68:19].

First Priority

Day 22
My Word is a two-edged sword. It will go forth from you, cutting to the quick and bringing healing to others' lives. Make knowing me your utmost priority.

I am creating a new heart within you. This process is step by step. Wait on me and don't be impatient. Don't fret about your shortcomings, but focus on me, my faithfulness, my provision, my constant and consistent grace and mercy that flow out to you. I am all you ever need. Each day begins anew. We go forward together. My yoke is easy.

For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart [Hebrews 4:12].

This is eternal life, that they may know you the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent [John 17:3].

And He has said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness." Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me [2 Corinthians 12:9].

Almighty Creator

Day 21
I will never leave you or forsake you. I am always with you. When you leave this time with me, I do not leave. I remain with you always, in every place. Acknowledge My presence. Be constantly aware of My provision. I sit on the throne of the universe, which I created, and that will never change. I am far bigger than you can possibly imagine, far greater than anything you will ever face in this world.

Be resolute in your commitment to me. Stand firm and do not take your eyes off me. I am your shield, your defender, and the high tower where you may take refuge. Run to me in times of distress. I will replenish your spirit. I am the life-giver. Remember, I have created you for my purposes. You will always belong to me. I love you with a love that cannot be shaken or distracted. Trust me completely.

No man will be able to stand before you all the days of your life. Just as I have been with Moses, I will be with you; I will not fail you or forsake you. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not tremble or be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go [Joshua 1:5,9].

The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge; my shied and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. I call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised, and I am saved from my enemies [Psalm 18:2-3].

You are from God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world [1 John 4:4].

Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the earth does not become weary or tired. His understanding is inscrutable. He gives strength to the weary. And to him who lacks might He increases power [Isaiah 40:28-29].

Like a Shepherd

Day 20
My desires will become your desires, and yours will become mine. I will make my ways and my purposes known to you. I will instruct you and teach you how to obey me, and you will receive power to overcome sin in this world.

Your children, and the people you care for, are mine. I will guide you in your responsibility to care for them. Be open to my leading. I will hold you up, and I will not let you fall. Follow me, and they will see me in you. Keep my way ever before you. There is power in submission to me.

For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments; and His commandments are not burdensome. For whatever is born of God overcomes the world; and this is the victory that has overcome the world--our faith. Who is the one who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God [1 John 5:3-5].

Like a shepherd He will tend His flock. In His arm He will gather the lambs and carry them close to his heart. He will gently lead those who nurse their young [Isaiah 40:11].

What are You Looking At?

Day 19
I am preparing you for the days ahead. Be alert. Keep your eyes open and focus on me. My Spirit will guide and direct you. You must learn to follow his lead. Make it a habit to take your eyes off people, circumstances, and external things. My Spirit will show you what is important and where you should be expending your energy. I am your unlimited resource. Remember not to place limits on me or your understanding of me. Allow your faith to increase as I lead you daily. Listen for my voice.

So then let us not sleep as others do, but let us be alert and sober [1 Thessalonians 5:6].

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them [Ephesians 2:10].

But from those who were of high reputation (what they were makes no difference to me; God shows no partiality)--well, those who were of reputation contributed nothing to me [Galatians 2:6].

While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal [2 Corinthians 4:18].

Be Ready

Day 18
I am coming soon. Be ready. Watch and pray. Stay connected and turned to me. I will keep you safe. Be diligent to seek me and to do all that I command you. I have made provision for everything you need. The time is short. I will give you strength as your day requires. You will not grow weary when you rest in me.

Keep your focus on me. I will develop in you the character I desire and the gifts that are already within you. You must learn to trust me on a deeper level and allow me to work the way I will. My yoke is easy and my burden is light. Take it upon you and be under my protection and my care. Feed on my word. I love you.

The end of all things is near; therefore, be of sound judgment and sober in spirit for the purpose of prayer [1 Peter 4:7].

Seeing that his divine power has granted to us everythng pertaining to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and excellence [2 Peter 1:3].

On the day I called, you answered me; you made me bold with strength in my soul [Psalm 138:3].

Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light [Matthew 11:29-30].

Day 17
Let my word be a lamp to your feet. I will take you into the darkest of places, but my light is within you. Darkness and light are the same to me, for I illuminate all things. Nothing is hidden from me, and nothing can surprise me. I know all things. I am in all things. Persevere to know me in all situations. I have put my peace within you. Abide in me.

Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path [Psalm 119:105].

If I say, "Surely the darkness will overwhelm me, and the light around me will be night," even the darkness is not dark to You, and the night is as bright as the day. Darkness and light are alike to You [Psalm 139:11-12].

He reveals mysteries from the darkness and brings the deep darkness into light. It is He who reveals the profound and hidden things; He knows what is in the darkness, and the light dwells with Him [Job 12:22; Daniel 2:22].

"Can a man hide himself in hiding places so I do not see him?" declares the Lord. "Do I not fill the heavens and the earth?" declares the Lord [Jeremiah 23:24].

Perseverance

Day 16
I am your perfect peace. I am your resting place. You can find me in the midst of every situation. Keep your mind stayed on me. You cannot go out of my presence. I will not change, nor will I turn my face from you. My Spirit will make you aware of my presence and my life-sustaining peace. I will hold you up in the midst of any kind of trial. Do not lose heart, but pesevere to keep your mind steadfast, and hold to the truth which I have revealed to you.

The steadfast of mind you will keep in perfect peace, because he trusts in you [Isaiah 26:3].

And He (Jesus) said to them, "Come away by yourselves to a secluded place and rest a while." (For there were many people coming and going, and they did not even have time to eat.) [Mark 6:31]

For I, the Lord, do not change [Malachi 3:6a].

Where can I go from your Spirit? Or where can I flee from your presence? [Psalm 139:7]

Presence

Day 15
Lay your burden down. I am Jehovah rophe, the God who heals you. I am Jehovah jireh, the God who provides all your needs. Do not focus on the needs of your life and despair. Focus on me. Out of me flow rivers of living water. Drink and be satisfied. Get strength from me. Dwell in me. Abide in my love. Remain in my presence, the fullness of joy. I will fill you. I have placed my thoughts within you. I have written on your heart what I desire for you. Follow me and never lose heart. Trust in me and walk in my ways.

Cast your burden upon the Lord and He will sustain you; He will never allow the righteous to be shaken [Psalm 55:22].

And He said, "If you will give earnest heed to the voice of the Lord your God, and do what is right in his sight, and give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have put on the Egyptians; for I, the Lord, am your healer" [Exodus 15:26].

But whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never thirst; but the water that I will give him will become in him a well of water spinging up to eternal life [John 4:14].

Everywhere Guide

Day 14
I am all the things you need. I am everywhere you need me. With me you are ready for anything, if you abide in me. I will provide. Keep studying my Word, which I have given you to feed your soul. It will satisfy you, and it will be there in your heart when you need it. You need my truth for all the situations you will face. Soak in my Word and abide in my Spirit, and you will be ready. Seek my guidance. I am leading you.

He who did not spare his own son, but gave him up for us all--how will he not also, along with him, freely give us all things? [Romans 8:32]

Oh, how I love your instructions! I think about them all day long. Your commands make me wiser than my enemies, for they are my constant guide. Yes, I have more insight than my teachers, for I am always thinking of your laws. I am even wiser than my elders, for I have kept your commandments [Psalm 119:97-100].

Let God's Love Flow

Day 13
Love my people. Speak words of truth and kindness. I am your source, your storehouse of riches. All these things I ask you to do, I will do them. You must exercise your will to remain focused on me, and keep my word in your heart. Let me know what you desire. Be in constant communication with me. I will bring it all to pass. Wait upon me, trust me, and obey me.

We know love by this, that He laid down his life for us; and we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters. If anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need, but shows no compassion, how can God's love be in that person? Dear children, let us not love merely with words or tongue, but with actions and in truth [1 John 3:16-18].

We love because He first loved us. If anyone says, "I love God," but hates his brother, he is a liar. For anyone who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, whom he has not seen. And He has given us this command: Whoever loves God must also love his brother [1 John 4:19-21].

For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases Him [Philippians 2:13].

Consider . . . and Walk It Out

Day 12
My law is on your heart. I have given you a heart of flesh, not of stone. I have placed my Spirit within you. He will guide you. Use your will to form lifelong habits. Pray without ceasing. Keep your thoughts fixed on me. Consider my ways. Search me out.

And I will give them one heart and put a new spirit within them. And I will take the heart of stone out of their flesh and give them a heart of flesh, that they may walk in my statutes and keep my ordinances and do them. Then they will be my people, and I will be their God [Ezeiel 11:19-20].

The Lord is my portion; I have promised to keep your words. I sought your favor with all my heart; be gracious to me according to your word. I considered my ways and turned my feet to your testimonies. I hastened and did not delay to keep your commandments [Psalm 119:57-60].

Be Filled to Overflowing

Day 11
Let your soul be quiet before me all the day through. Concentrate on listening to my voice, for I have placed my Spirit within you. You have the mind of Christ. Let me rule in your heart. Grasp the opportunities that lay before you to tell others about me. Be listening to me, and follow my lead. I will open the opportunities for you, and I will open their ears and their eyes and reveal myself to them. You are my vessel, my jar of clay. Let me fill you each day with treasure, and I will pour it out wherever you go. Focus on me.

Cease striving and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations; I will be exalted in the earth [Psalm 46:10].

These words, which I am commanding you today, shall be on your heart. Teach them diligently to your sons and daughters and talk of them when you sit in your house and when you walk by the way and when you lie down and when you rise up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them to your forehead. Write them on the doorframes of your house and on your gates [Deuteronomy 6:6-9].

But we have this treasure in jars of clay, to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from ourselves [2 Corinthins 4:7].

Get God's Attitude

Day 10
I will change your attitude as you focus your mind on me. This is a continual act of your will--to yield it to me. Study and know my Word, and I will use it to transform your attitude. My Word will go forth from your life and will be power to change things and others. I will do the work. I am making a way through the wilderness, but you must prepare the way.

Do not take lightly this time you spend alone with me. Be diligent to keep and guard it. This is the channel through which I am able to work, your connection to me. Look at all I have done when you were not so connected to me. I will accomplish what I set out to do. The more you are connected to me, the more I can use you and the more you will see my mighty hand at work. Abide in me. I am showing you how.

And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind [Romans 12:2a].

But the one who joins himself to the Lord is one spirit with Him [1 Corinthians 6:17].

So will my word be which goes forth from my mouth; it will not retun to me empty, without accomplishing what I desire, and without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it [Isaiah 55:11].

The Lord will accomplish what concerns me; your lovingkindness, O Lord, is everlasting; do not forsake the works of your hands [Psalm 138:8].

A New Thing

Day 9
I am doing a new thing. Behold -- It will spring forth. Rivers in the desert--that's how I work. You will not always find me where you expect, and I will not always work in ways that you expect. You must seek me, and not what you think I will do. I am making a way for you, but you must get behind me and follow me on it. When you take action, do it as in obedience to me, not in order to yield a result that you desire. I handle the results. You handle the obedience.

Behold, I will do somthing new. Now it will spring forth; will you not be aware of it? I will even make a roadway in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert [Isaiah 43:19].

He changes a wilderness into a pool of water and a dry land into sprngs of water [Psalm 107:35].

Then the lame will leap like a deer, and the tongue of the mute will shout for joy. for waters will break forth in the wilderness and streems in the Arabah [Isaiah 35:6].

What Are You Fixed On?

Day 8
I have given you everything you need for this day. Be attentive to my voice. I am always available to you. Are you available to me? Keep your thoughts fixed on me. I will guide you. Every day, work to put my Word in your heart, and store it up within you. It will have a great yield in your life.

Don't put your eyes on people--whether good or bad, do not focus and dwell on what people do. Get to know me so well that all your responses will be correct. I am your source, and my joy is within you. My peace will sustain you. My wisdom will guide you when you are seeking me. I will not falter. You can lean heavily on me. I am always your refuge. You will be prepared for whatever comes. Seek me immediately before you seek anyone or anything else. The enemy waits to infiltrate through the tiniest crack in your armor. Be alert, and be fully armed with my Word and let my truth govern your life. The more of my Word you get into your heart, the more I can recall it to your mind when the need arises. Be faithful to me, for I have shown myself faithful.

And the Lord will continually guide you and satisfy your desire in scorched places, and give strength to your bones; and you will be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water whose waters do not fail [Isaiah 58:11].

But the Lord said to Samuel, "Do not look at his appearance or at the height of his stature, because I have rejected him; for God sees not as man sees, for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart." [1 Samuel 16:7]

The Lord is the one who goes ahead of you; He will be with you. He will not fail you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed [Deuteronomy 31:8].

And the one on whom seed was sown on the good soil, this is the man who hears the word and understands it, and indeed bears fruit and brings forth, some a hundredfold, some sixty, and some thirty [Matthew 13:23].

Keep On Keeping On

Day 7
I love you, child. Do not despair when things are tough. Lean on me. Abide in me. Let my thoughts be your thoughts. I will lead and insruct you. "Follow me" means all day long. I will never leave you. I stand with you, and you can count on all that I Am. Know my Word and know my promises. Carry them with you. I will bring them to pass. Your heart is mine; let me fill it with good things. I am bigger than any adversity in your life. I will overcome it in you. Trust me. This is an active thing, stepping forward when you know what I have asked you to do, and perservering to the end. I will always give you the grace to do it. There is much I want to do.

Many are called, but few are chosen. I have chosen you to make a difference. I will prioritize your life. Just walk in obedience, trusting me. I have already equipped you to go forward from this day.

For I am the Lord your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you [Isaiah 41:13].

The Lord is with me. I will not be afraid. What can man do to me? The Lord is with me; he is my helper. I will look in triumph on my enemies [Psalm 118:6-7].

Let them give thanks to the Lord for his unfailing love, and his wonderful deeds for men, for he satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things [Psalm 107:8-9].

You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world [1 John 4:4].

Steadfast

Day 6

Every day I am the same. Never allow your trust in me to be altered by circumstances around you. Keep looking to me, and keep reading my Word to get my truth within you. Even when I am silent, I am still caring for you. Be confident in this: I will never let go of you. Rest firmly in my hands and turn neither to the right nor to the left. Do not esteem any man or fear any man above me. Know that I love every person, and my purposes will be accomplished. When you do not understand, remember all I have done for you and rest in who I Am.

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever [Hebrews 13:8].

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid [John 14:27].

They spread a net for my feet--I was bowed down in distress. They dug a pit in my path--but they have fallen into it themselves. My heart is steadfast, O God, my heart is steadfast [Psalm 57:6-7].
