Consider . . . and Walk It Out

Day 12
My law is on your heart. I have given you a heart of flesh, not of stone. I have placed my Spirit within you. He will guide you. Use your will to form lifelong habits. Pray without ceasing. Keep your thoughts fixed on me. Consider my ways. Search me out.

And I will give them one heart and put a new spirit within them. And I will take the heart of stone out of their flesh and give them a heart of flesh, that they may walk in my statutes and keep my ordinances and do them. Then they will be my people, and I will be their God [Ezeiel 11:19-20].

The Lord is my portion; I have promised to keep your words. I sought your favor with all my heart; be gracious to me according to your word. I considered my ways and turned my feet to your testimonies. I hastened and did not delay to keep your commandments [Psalm 119:57-60].

Be Filled to Overflowing

Day 11
Let your soul be quiet before me all the day through. Concentrate on listening to my voice, for I have placed my Spirit within you. You have the mind of Christ. Let me rule in your heart. Grasp the opportunities that lay before you to tell others about me. Be listening to me, and follow my lead. I will open the opportunities for you, and I will open their ears and their eyes and reveal myself to them. You are my vessel, my jar of clay. Let me fill you each day with treasure, and I will pour it out wherever you go. Focus on me.

Cease striving and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations; I will be exalted in the earth [Psalm 46:10].

These words, which I am commanding you today, shall be on your heart. Teach them diligently to your sons and daughters and talk of them when you sit in your house and when you walk by the way and when you lie down and when you rise up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them to your forehead. Write them on the doorframes of your house and on your gates [Deuteronomy 6:6-9].

But we have this treasure in jars of clay, to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from ourselves [2 Corinthins 4:7].

Get God's Attitude

Day 10
I will change your attitude as you focus your mind on me. This is a continual act of your will--to yield it to me. Study and know my Word, and I will use it to transform your attitude. My Word will go forth from your life and will be power to change things and others. I will do the work. I am making a way through the wilderness, but you must prepare the way.

Do not take lightly this time you spend alone with me. Be diligent to keep and guard it. This is the channel through which I am able to work, your connection to me. Look at all I have done when you were not so connected to me. I will accomplish what I set out to do. The more you are connected to me, the more I can use you and the more you will see my mighty hand at work. Abide in me. I am showing you how.

And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind [Romans 12:2a].

But the one who joins himself to the Lord is one spirit with Him [1 Corinthians 6:17].

So will my word be which goes forth from my mouth; it will not retun to me empty, without accomplishing what I desire, and without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it [Isaiah 55:11].

The Lord will accomplish what concerns me; your lovingkindness, O Lord, is everlasting; do not forsake the works of your hands [Psalm 138:8].

A New Thing

Day 9
I am doing a new thing. Behold -- It will spring forth. Rivers in the desert--that's how I work. You will not always find me where you expect, and I will not always work in ways that you expect. You must seek me, and not what you think I will do. I am making a way for you, but you must get behind me and follow me on it. When you take action, do it as in obedience to me, not in order to yield a result that you desire. I handle the results. You handle the obedience.

Behold, I will do somthing new. Now it will spring forth; will you not be aware of it? I will even make a roadway in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert [Isaiah 43:19].

He changes a wilderness into a pool of water and a dry land into sprngs of water [Psalm 107:35].

Then the lame will leap like a deer, and the tongue of the mute will shout for joy. for waters will break forth in the wilderness and streems in the Arabah [Isaiah 35:6].

What Are You Fixed On?

Day 8
I have given you everything you need for this day. Be attentive to my voice. I am always available to you. Are you available to me? Keep your thoughts fixed on me. I will guide you. Every day, work to put my Word in your heart, and store it up within you. It will have a great yield in your life.

Don't put your eyes on people--whether good or bad, do not focus and dwell on what people do. Get to know me so well that all your responses will be correct. I am your source, and my joy is within you. My peace will sustain you. My wisdom will guide you when you are seeking me. I will not falter. You can lean heavily on me. I am always your refuge. You will be prepared for whatever comes. Seek me immediately before you seek anyone or anything else. The enemy waits to infiltrate through the tiniest crack in your armor. Be alert, and be fully armed with my Word and let my truth govern your life. The more of my Word you get into your heart, the more I can recall it to your mind when the need arises. Be faithful to me, for I have shown myself faithful.

And the Lord will continually guide you and satisfy your desire in scorched places, and give strength to your bones; and you will be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water whose waters do not fail [Isaiah 58:11].

But the Lord said to Samuel, "Do not look at his appearance or at the height of his stature, because I have rejected him; for God sees not as man sees, for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart." [1 Samuel 16:7]

The Lord is the one who goes ahead of you; He will be with you. He will not fail you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed [Deuteronomy 31:8].

And the one on whom seed was sown on the good soil, this is the man who hears the word and understands it, and indeed bears fruit and brings forth, some a hundredfold, some sixty, and some thirty [Matthew 13:23].

Keep On Keeping On

Day 7
I love you, child. Do not despair when things are tough. Lean on me. Abide in me. Let my thoughts be your thoughts. I will lead and insruct you. "Follow me" means all day long. I will never leave you. I stand with you, and you can count on all that I Am. Know my Word and know my promises. Carry them with you. I will bring them to pass. Your heart is mine; let me fill it with good things. I am bigger than any adversity in your life. I will overcome it in you. Trust me. This is an active thing, stepping forward when you know what I have asked you to do, and perservering to the end. I will always give you the grace to do it. There is much I want to do.

Many are called, but few are chosen. I have chosen you to make a difference. I will prioritize your life. Just walk in obedience, trusting me. I have already equipped you to go forward from this day.

For I am the Lord your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you [Isaiah 41:13].

The Lord is with me. I will not be afraid. What can man do to me? The Lord is with me; he is my helper. I will look in triumph on my enemies [Psalm 118:6-7].

Let them give thanks to the Lord for his unfailing love, and his wonderful deeds for men, for he satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things [Psalm 107:8-9].

You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world [1 John 4:4].

Steadfast

Day 6

Every day I am the same. Never allow your trust in me to be altered by circumstances around you. Keep looking to me, and keep reading my Word to get my truth within you. Even when I am silent, I am still caring for you. Be confident in this: I will never let go of you. Rest firmly in my hands and turn neither to the right nor to the left. Do not esteem any man or fear any man above me. Know that I love every person, and my purposes will be accomplished. When you do not understand, remember all I have done for you and rest in who I Am.

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever [Hebrews 13:8].

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid [John 14:27].

They spread a net for my feet--I was bowed down in distress. They dug a pit in my path--but they have fallen into it themselves. My heart is steadfast, O God, my heart is steadfast [Psalm 57:6-7].
